Other buildings on campus:
The roomkey also grants access to some of the Max Plank institutes. After visiting other buildings please re-activate your card on the master chip on the entrance to the hotel or to the hallway.

Mail: We accept your mail at reception and will inform you when letters arrive. Parcels are usually confirmed by the sender and therefore do not require any separate notification from us.

Landlord's certificate, GEZ (German TV license), etc.: We are happy to help with these matters, please contact us!

Luggage: Suitcases, etc. can be locked away at the reception. Please note that these will only be accessible during opening hours.

Late Arrivals

Your room card is stored in the key safe in front of the main entrance.

You will find your box and the corresponding code in the email we sent you before your arrival. The card opens both the hotel entrance door and your room.

Please fill out the registration form provided there and hand it in at reception at your earliest convenience.

If you cannot access your card or enter the hotel for other reasons, please contact the on-call service at: +49 (0) 7071- 601 765

Your room

Your room is equipped with all the usual amenities of a hotel. This includes furniture, bedding, hairdryer, toiletries, etc. 

Using the roomkey: Put it towards the doorknob. It should light up green and make a sound. If it doesn‘t please try again. Dont move your card around much, keep it still and close to the lock. If the sound appears turn the knob all the way in the direction of the door.
To lock your room, follow the same procedure but to the other direction. Just closing the door does not automatically lock it!

Cleaning: For visits shorter than 14 nights, your room will be cleaned every other day. If you stay longer than 14 nights, the rooms are discounted and thus only cleaned weekly. The scheduled days are: Tuesday for the first floor, Thursday for the second floor.

For technical reasons, weekly cleaning is required.

 

WIFI: Please scan the QR code on the desk.

Breakfast

Monday-Friday from 07:30am-10am in Café Max on the ground floor next to the elevetor.

Breakfast costs 10 euros for the entire buffet, but you can also order individual items for the respective price.

Roomcard= rechargeable card for payment

We are a cashless environment- your room card is rechargeable for purchases. You can recharge your card cash only at the machine next to the Elevator on ground Floor. For card/cash recharge there is another machine downstairs to your left opposite the Canteen.

Please remember to have the remaining balance on your room card refunded and return your key card to the reception desk. If you check out outside office hours, please leave the card in your room or drop it in the mailbox.

Guest Kitchen and Laundry

The guest kitchens (fully equipped) are located on the 1st and 2nd floors. For longer stays, please obtain a key for your own refrigerator compartment.

The laundry room is located on the first floor opposite room 1. Laundry tokens and washing powder can be purchased at reception for 5€. This includes use of the washing machine and dryer. It is not permitted to dry laundry in your room (risk of mold!).

Water: 
There is a water bottle in your room. To refill, please go to Café Max- next to the coffee machine is a water dispenser.

Manual for the stove

Technical equipment may naturally be subject to breakdowns or defects. We provide these services free of charge; they are not part of the contract (see reservation confirmation). A reduction in the room price due to breakdowns is therefore excluded.
